Jeff Banks Resigns

UTEP Assistant Coach Jeff Banks is leaving El Paso.  After nine years on Mike Price's staff, Banks has accepted a job at the University of Virginia where he will coach running backs and special teams.

Banks says he was offered a position on Sean Kugler's new staff at UTEP but the Virginia job was a significant salary increase and coaching in the ACC carries prestige.
