EL PASO — Three local teachers are facing drug possession charges following a joint operation by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office and the DEA.
Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Beltran Saturday night. He's the head baseball coach at Cathedral High School and is charged with having between one and four grams of an un-named drug.
On Thursday, sheriff's deputies arrested Raul Gomez who’s an assistant coach for the girls’ basketball team at Del Valle High School.
Sheriff’s deputies also arrested Joe Solis on Thursday. He’s a counselor at Frank Macias Elementary School in the Clint Independent School District. Deputies said Solis had cocaine.
Jail records show all three men have been released from jail.
