EL PASO — As expected today, El Paso City Council awarded up to four million dollars over a two year period to Basic IDIQ Inc, for "engineering and construction management" of city-owned buidings. The council item carries broad possibilities for where the money may go, including repair of buildings.
It is also possible that a portion of the money would go into construction of a Triple-A baseball stadium planned for downtown.
Basic IDIQ is a regional company that includes offices in El Paso
