Central El Paso — The wind blew hard in Central El Paso today, so hard it knocked down some power lines.
Officials say the power lines on Dakota Street in between Tremont and Pittsburg were knocked down early Friday morning. The Central El Paso Fire Department says the neighborhood went without power for a couple of hours. El Paso Electric was able to restore power and no one was hurt.
