An acquaintance of a man suspected in this past weekend’s kidnapping and sexual assault has been charged with breaking into the arrestee’s apartment where he stole electronics and keys to the incarcerated man’s vehicle.
Las Cruces police arrested 25-year-old, Jeremy Lopez Robledo, on the 1400 block of Durazno Drive.
Police say that on November 19th, two days after Jeremy Leshawn Davis was arrested on charges related to a kidnapping and sexual assault, Robledo broke into the man’s residence and stole two laptop computers and other electronics. He also stole Davis' 2000 Ford Crown Victoria vehicle.
On Monday Robledo was booked into the Dona Ana County Detention Center with bond set at $10,000.
