East El Paso — A 4-car crash disrupts an East El Paso neighborhood late Monday evening. Police say it all happened at the intersection of Montwood and Yarbrough when a driver of a Mitsubishi endeavored failed to stop at a red light. They say the driver may have been distracted and may have been eating when he ran through the intersection.
The incident occurred around 10:45 PM on Monday. Investigators say the driver crashed into 2 other cars who then crashed into another who was waiting to make a left turn.
All-in-all, 3 SUV's and 1 mid-sized sedan were involved in this accident. Despite all the mess, police say everyone walked away from the accident OK, the driver of the Endeavor was treated for a minor head injury and was not transported to the hospital
The El Paso Police Department also cited the driver of the Endeavor for failing to stop at a red light.
