Students at UTEP celebrate peace along the border

El Paso, TX — A celebration of peace, that's what people at UTEP's Bhutan Lounge have been celebrating. "Border Peace Through Inner Peace" is a month long celebration aimed at creating peace along the border. Students have been able to watch free movies and participate in various activities. On Saturday, the celebration wrapped up with a closing ceremony known as a "mandala ceremony." The peace along the border celebration stems from a similar event which was held in California.
