EL PASO — El Paso Animal Services reports an increase in the number of parvo and distemper cases in dogs.
Dr. Bernie Page said they see more cases as the temperatures get cooler, but now they are seeing as many as 25 cases each week.
Symptoms of parvo include depression, vomiting and bloody stool and diahrrea.
Dr. Page also said distempter is airborne, so even if you have your dog in your backyard, they can still get sick.
