This week: The New Mexico State volleyball team wraps up the regular season with a match against Idaho on “Senior Night,” Thursday, Nov. 12 at 5:30 p.m. (MT) in the Pan American Center. Aggie fans are encouraged to get to the Pan American Center by 5 p.m. (MT) to honor this year’s lone senior Madison Hardy.
Radio Coverage: The Aggie Sports Network is producing any post season matches on KSNM AM 570 in Las Cruces with Jay Sanderson giving the play-by-play action.

Television Coverage: Six matches have been on the schedule for television with this week’s regular season finale still scheduled air on TV by the AggieVision Production team.
Matches produced by AggieVision will also air on ESPN3.com (free of charge) and fans should check local listings for airtimes in theirarea. Fans can also go to www.AggieVision.tv  for channel listings. The match versus Idaho this week is scheduled to air on TV with Jay Sanderson and Keith Leupold as the announcers.

About the Aggies: The Aggies are 19-9 overall and 12-5 in WAC play heading into week 13 of the 2012 season. The Aggies are hitting .222 as a team, while holding their opponents to a .168 hitting percentage. Three different Aggies have posted at least 200 kills this season with sophomore Meredith Hays leading the way with 424 on the year (3.93/set).
NM State runs a 6-2 offense, rotating setters throughout the match, with junior Ciara Brown leading the way with 5.77 assists per set in 96 sets played. Freshman Taylor Livoti has seen action in 83 sets this year and is posting 4.82 assists per set. Sophomore Maggi Jo Keffury has gotten in the lineup in 53 sets this year and averages 4.13 assists per set.
Juniors Stephanie Ziegler and Hannah Walker have been taking on the defensive specialist duties this year with Walker leading the team posting 3.02 digs per set. Ziegler is second on the team with 2.83 digs perset. Scott leads the team defensively at the net with 134 total blocks on the year, averaging 1.24 per set. Sophomore Gwen Murphy is closest to Scott with 76 total blocks on the season. The Aggies as a team tally 2.51 blocks per set.
NM State averages 13.18 kills per set in WAC play and tallies 14.60 digs per set and 2.59 blocks per set when facing teams out of the WAC. Hays averages 3.55 kills per set in WAC play and Walker leads the teamposting 3.51 digs per set in league play.
The Aggies are 8-3 when playing at home falling to Northwestern (Sept. 1), Texas State (Oct. 13) and Utah State (Nov. 3). NM State hits .240 as a team when playing in the Pan American Center with Hays marking 3.83 kills per set in 41 sets played. Scott is averaging 2.10 kills per set at home and is putting up 1.15 blocks per set in the Pan American Center.
NM State went 6-3 during the month of October going 3-1 in three-set matches, 3-1 in four-set matches and 0-1 in five- set matches. Juniors Desiree Scott and Lauren Loerch averaged 2.61 kills per set during the month while Hays tallied 3.73 per set. Defensive specialist Hannah Walker marked 3.24 digs per set and had 107 digs during the month of October.
