The New Mexico State football team travels to Auburn to face what could be its toughest game of the 2012 season. Both teams are 1-7 this season.
The Aggies will not only face the Tigers on the weekend but will also play in front of a crowd of over 87,000 fans. Kickoff is set for 10:30 a.m. M.T. You can listen to all the action with the 'Voice of the Aggies' Jack Nixon on KGRT 104 FM, as well as listen to the game in Spanish with Martin Cortez on Vista 98.7 FM. The game will also be televised on Comcast Sports Southeast.
SERIES LOOK: Auburn leads the series 2-0 with both games being played in Auburn. The Tigers won the last meeting in 2007, 55-20, and the first meeting in 1993, 50-14.
COACHES: New Mexico State’s DeWayne Walker is in his fourth season with the Aggies and is 10-36. Auburn’s Gene Chizik is in his fourth season with the Tigers and is 31-17. Overall, he is 36-36 in six years as a head coach.

Davis Cazares leads the WAC in tackles (10.4/game). Auburn – hosted Texas A&M last week and lost 63-21 ... Jonathan Wallace completed 6-of-9 passes for 122 yards and two TDs while rushing for 71 yards on 13 carries ... its only win came in overtime, 31-28, versus Louisiana-Monroe.
