Sen. Harry Reid Hurt in Car Crash

Senator Harry Reid was released from the hospital Friday evening after his motorcade was involved in a crash on a Las Vegas freeway earlier in the day. 

The 72-year old Senate Majority Leader was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.  He walked into the hospital on his own. Reid's security detail took him as a precaution.  He suffered some rib and hip contusions, but doctors released him. Some members of his detail and staff were also checked out for minor injuries.
