It's National Boss Day, so give that boss a smile.
National Boss Day is observed every year on October 16th, or the nearest working day.
It is a time when workers show extra appreciation to their employers.
Some people give their bosses cards, gift certificates or flowers. Others may be just extra nice for the day.
The observance was created in 1958 to promote better relationships between bosses and their employees.
