El Paso children took center stage at a local fundraiser tonight and the community came together in support of a wonderful cause.
People packed the Alborada Ballroom to help raise money for the El Paso Children's Hospital and Children's Miracle Network.
The Bandidos Motorcycle Club of El Paso coordinated the event. They offered food, beverages, and entertainment. Five live bands performed in the outdoor area of the ballroom and a DJ played inside. The group organizes several charity events like this one each year. Club members say it's a great way for them to take care of the Borderland's needy children.
More than 40 local motorcycle clubs attended tonight's fundraiser. The Bandidos raised more than $6000 for the Children's Hospital and Miracle Network. The Bandidos' El Paso chapter president, Sergio Martinez presented the check.
Donors provided everything at the event, including food, entertainment, and the venue itself.
