EL PASO — A train crashed into a small pickup truck in El Paso's Upper Valley sending it's passengers to the hospital Sunday afternoon.One remained in critical condition as of Monday.
The crash happened at the railroad crossing at Doniphan Drive and Sunland Park Avenue at about 3pm.
Police on the scene said there were three passengers in the truck.
A man in his 50's and a man in his 20's were taken to University Medical Center in critical condition, according to the El Paso Fire Department.
It is unknown why the truck was on the tracks during the time of the crash.
A Burlington Northern Santa Fe spokesperson said the train has a camera on board and the company plans on reviewing the footage as a part of their investigation.
BNSF said there were no injuries to any crew members or any spills from the train.
Names of the passengers were not released.
