EL PASO — A local bicycling club hosted the El Paso area's biggest cycling event at La Viña Winery.
More than 900 riders took part in the Chile Pepper Challenge. The event offered a 10 mile, a 20 mile, a 62 mile and 100 mile ride to whoever wanted to participate. The annual event raises thousands of dollars for local charities. This year's Chile Pepper Challenge proceeds will go to the Lee and Beulah Moor Children's Home, Animal Rescue League of El Paso, Hospice of El Paso and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of El Paso.
