The El Paso Federal Credit Union is closing up shop.
The National Credit Union administration Friday liquidated the El Paso branch, after determining the credit union has been operating in the red.
Member's deposits are federally insured up to $250,000.
EPFCU had 1,035 members.
Most accounts will be transferred to the El Paso Area Teacher's Federal Credit Union.
Checks will be issued customers if the accounts can't be transferred.
