It may get harder to pig out next year.
A pork and bacon shortage that's expected around the world. According to the Los Angeles Times the European Union's pig herd is declining at an alarming rate.
It's all tied to drought conditions in the U.S. that destroyed corn and soybean crops. It became too expensive to feed the animals, so many farmers reduced their herds.
That may now translate to fewer pork products in the store and less pork on your plate.
