Portales, N.M. — A peanut butter recall is expanding to additional products and states. Sunland Inc. is now recalling 76 different types of peanut butter and almond butter. This comes after one of its products was linked to a salmonella outbreak at "Trader Joe's" grocery stores. "Trader Joe's" creamy salted valencia peanut butter was linked to 29 salmonella cases in 18 states, including Texas. Sunland manufactures the retailer's brand of peanut butter. The additional recalls are being done as a precaution because those products were manufactured with the same equipment as the "Trader Joe's" product. No illnesses were reported in New Mexico.
