America is getting fatter. It's predicted that more than half of the people in 39 states will be obese by the year 2030, but regulators are hoping changes in the way food is marketed will help Americans lose weight. According to Yale University's Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity, more than two-thirds of Americans are overweight or obese.
In an effort to help the American weight problem, McDonald's has decided to start listing calorie information on its menus. In New York the Board of Health has voted to ban the serving of sugary drinks in containers bigger than 16 ounces.
