EL PASO — September 28th is the last day for persons with outstanding traffic warrants to pay and have the Failure to Appear Fine waived, court officials announced Friday.
The Justice of the Peace courts were offering individuals the opportunity to receive a waiver for the Failure to Appear fine during the Amnesty Period and avoid additional associated fees that may incur once the Amnesty period has ended.
A warrant roundup will follow on Oct. 1 by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and El Paso County Constables.
Individuals who believe have an outstanding warrant(s) as a result of a citation from a Sheriff’s Deputy, Deputy Constable, or Texas DPS Trooper should contact the appropriate Justice of the peace Office.
