EL PASO — One UTEP professor said don't expect violence and protests in Lebanon to let up.
UTEP political science professor, Gaspar Genna said it's not just an anti-Muhammad video that's inciting the violence, but both political and economic unrest in the region.
"Because there is a recent level of revolution, you're going to have instability, uncertainty, economic... decline and so therefore this feeds into this entrepreneurship of inciting these demonstrations that often turn violent," said Genna.
Genna said things can't get better until those conditions improve and until then, there will likely be more people standing up and inciting more violence.
