Whole Enchilada Fiesta Prompts Area Closures

LAS CRUCES — The Whole Enchilada Fiesta, a three-day event centereed on making the largest enchilada in the southwest, will  prompt some weekend closures within its vicinity. The event will take place from Friday, Sept. 28 through Sunday, Sept. 30 with the following areas closed to the public: 

- Armando "Mondy" Castañeda Service Center
(Parks and Recreation/Fleet Services)

- Parks Maintenance

- Meerscheidt Recreation Center

- Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center

Meerscheidt Recreation Center will be CLOSED for all activities beginning at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27th. All facilities will re-open for regular business on Monday, Oct. 1.
