Amazon Unveils New Kindle

Amazon has a new updated version of its Kindle.  

The Kindle Fire tablet is Amazon's latest effort to take a bigger share of the tablet computer market currently dominated by Apple's ipad. 

Amazon also announced a new stand alone E-Reader. The new gadgets could help boost Amazon's sales of digital products such as E-Books and movies.

The announcement comes just one day after Nokia and Google announced five new smartphones between them.  It's expected that Apple will announce a new iphone and possibly a mini ipad in the upcoming weeks.
