A new vaccination could soon protect you from the West Nile Virus. Researchers at Oklahoma University say early tests are very promising. They were able to isolate strains of the West Nile Virus, then used a chemical which "inactivates" it, basically rendering the virus harmless.
Researchers are now in the process of developing the actual vaccine- which would then be followed by years of testing before it hit the market.
