Parents Feel Benefits of Social Media Outweigh Risks

Despite reports of cyber-bullying and other perils of social networking, a majority of parents in a new survey think the benefits of Facebook and Twitter outweigh the risks.

Of the 2,000 parents surveyed, 72% said their child's participation in social media is helping them prepare for future job success and a technology-driven workplace.
