EL PASO — A local church hosts a back to school health fair to provide free services for those in need.
25 agencies and vendors, including the El Paso Police Department, El Paso Five Points Lion Club, to name a few, provided immunizations, community resources, health screenings, hearing and eye exams and general health education.
"This health fair is one more way in which we do our outreach. We're all about the common good in taking care of the needs in the area," said John Nelson, University Presbyterian pastor.
The event lasted until 1pm with live music, school supplies, games and door prizes.
