A year ago, the Miners struggled to have enough bodies to field a full offensive line due to injury. This season heading into Camp Socorro the o-line is at 100% health and anchored by center Eloy Atkinson and tackles Brander Craighead and James Nelson. Something that quarterback Nick Lamaison appreciates the most.
"I'm really excited. They are great players on the field and they are good guys off the field too. They watch a lot of film, they care about it, they love the game of football and that's something I like to see. Something I'm excited about," said the Senior QB.
Head Coach Mike Price likes the depth.
"We've got 8 guys now that can play. So I feel real good about offensive line. They are really coming together too," said Price.
The Miners will be at Camp Socorro until Wednesday.
