EL PASO — Police are searching for one of the drivers involved in an overnight hit and run crash.
The wreck happened about 2:30 a.m. Thursday on the corner of Yandell and El Paso St.
According to police, the driver of an SUV was headed west on Yandell when she suddenly slammed on her brakes. The vehicle traveling behind her could not stop in time and slammed into the back of the SUV.
Police said the driver of the second vehicle got out of the car and ran away.
Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash.
There were no injuries reported.
