LAS CRUCES — A $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of anyone responsible for setting fire to a playground was being offered by Las Cruces Crimestoppers.
Police said that firefighters extinguished a fire on the Lions Park playground equipment at 701 W. Picacho Ave. The blaze caused roughly $15,000 in damage.
No injuries were reported.
