EL PASO — Gas prices are on the rise once again. According to AAA, prices at the pump are up 17 cents a gallon nationally from last month. That's an increase of just more than five percent. Economists blame higher global oil prices as well as increased demand due to the busy summer driving season as reason's for the sudden spike. According to the online gas price tracking website gasbuddy.com, the average price of gas in El Paso is currently $3.20/gallon.
