EL PASO — Nineteen year old Danmond Bryant faces charges of aggravated robbery after police said he pointed a handgun at another teen, demanding his cell phone.
The teen had been walking down Manila Drive Saturday evening when Bryant drove up to him and pointed a gun. He fled the scene with the phone, police said.
Bryant was located a short distance away, and police recovered the stolen cell phone and handgun inside his vehicle. He was placed under arrest for aggravated robbery and failure to identify as a fugitive. He had outstanding warrants for urinating in public, theft andcriminal trespass.
He was booked into the El Paso County Jail on bonds totaling $50,000.00.
