EL PASO — U.S. Marshals arrested Efrain Venegas, 23, who was a fugitive on the run with sux warrants out for his arrest. The most serious charge involved aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Venegas was located Wednesday morning, and during his arrest he assaulted a Deputy U.S. Marshal who sustained minor injuries to his face. Venegas is currently being held at the El Paso County Detention Facility with no bond.
