No more 'California Dreaming' for the Dallas Cowboys, training camp has begun. The Cowboys opened up training camp today in Oxnard, two hours north of Los Angeles, and will hold training camp there until August 17.
Linebacker Sean Lee told the media today after practice, "Everyone is so excited to get out here, and the competition between offense and defense starts to rev up a little bit. The offense and defense starts to go a little faster, and you try to match the pace, and we're just excited to get out here and play." New Defensive Back, first round pick Morris Claiborne of LSU, added, "It's very exciting to be out here with the guys that you have been watching for a while, and actually going up against them or playing alongside of them."
The Cowboys will face the Raiders in their exhibition opener on Monday, August 13 on Monday Night Football, then will open the regular season on Sunday Night Football's Wednesday broadcast, Wednesday, September 5, at the New York Giants.
