EL PASO — A suspected drunk driver crashed into the rock wall of a Mission Valley home, and the homeowner says the same thing has happened six times before.
The wreck happened shortly before 2:00a.m. Wednesday on Granillo St. and Socorro Rd.
According to police, the driver of a pickup truck lost control along Granillo St. and crashed into the rock wall on the side of the house. The vehicle did not reach the inside of the house where Amy Orozco said her children were. They called her immediately after the crash happened. She is frustrated because she said it's not the first time something like this has happened.
"It's the sixth time they crash into this house. Five times on the other side, and this is the first time here. This road, there's always people speeding through this road," said Orozco.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries he suffered in the crash.
Once he is released, he will be arrested on suspicion of DWI.
