Gas prices have dropped an average of about seven cents a gallon over the past three weeks... but an analyst says prices are likely heading back up.
A new survey says prices will stop falling because crude oil prices haven't really dropped in several weeks. Jackson, Mississippi has the lowest average price, at $3 a gallon. Gas prices are highest in Chicago, with a gallon going for $3.78.
The national average for a gallon of regular gasoline is $3.41. That's more than 20 cents cheaper than this time last year but it's still higher than the average price of gas here in El Paso which is $3.18.
