EL PASO — UPDATE: The man killed has been identified as 30-year-old Jarrod Pelayo.

A man was pronounced dead Friday evening after his car collided with a train in South El Paso.
Police said the man was driving southbound on N. Clark Drive at the same time a train was headed westbound on the tracks.
According to a preliminary investigation, the man drove around the drop down warning arm and was hit by the train.
He was the only person in the car.
