EL PASO — A low income factor will no longer entirely derail hopeful families of owning a home, thanks to a $280K grant that would contribute to the construction of 60 homes in the Lower Valley. The grant will allow lower income families to dream the possibility of owning a property by allowing them to build the homes themselves.
El Paso's Lower Valley Housing Corporation was awarded the 2-year USDA grant Friday morning.
