This weekend, 40 teams will decend on the pantheon of College Football, Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend. El Paso will be represented by Montwood High School. Perennial District front runners, the Rams feature a talented corps that hopes for some excitement in South Bend.
Junior Receiver Warren Redix, who has received some Division 1 interest, said,"It's a great opportunity to get some exposure up there in the Big 10, it's the last tournament up there so we want to leave a good statement up there, I guess you can say." Senior Quarterback Angel Garcia is a soft spoken leader of the team. "Yes sir, we are having a lot of fun. We have been practicing hard, everybody has been doing well, our defense is looking good, our offense is looking good, everybody is doing good."
The tournament begins Saturday.
