EL PASO — The El Paso Police Department is doing its part to keep El Paso streets safe this Memorial Day weekend.
A no refusal mandatory blood draw operation will be implemented starting at 10p.m. Friday, and will last until 4a.m. Saturday.
The operation targets suspected drunk drivers who refuse to provide a breath sample.
If a suspected drunk driver refuses a breathalyzer test, officers will obtain a search warrant to draw blood for testing.
