EL PASO - People around the world will have their eyes on the sky Sunday at the solar eclipse.
Folks in the Western U.S. have the best shot in the states of seeing the eclipse, but do not look at it directly.
A number of organizations are hosting viewing events.
The NMSU Astronomy Department, Astronomical Society of Las Cruces, and Las Cruces Natural History Museum are inviting everyone to the Mesilla Valley Mall.
They will set up telescopes and sell solar eclipse glasses.
