LAS CRUCES, NM - Phase three of occupy Las Cruces officially began this weekend.
Demonstrators representing the 99% will be camping overnight in Las Cruces parks for the next few weeks.
It was February when the group first got together in solidarity with national occupy movements protesting corporate greed and political corruption.
The group camped out at Albert Johnson Park for a hundred days in what they called phase one.
For phase two they left the park and took to the streets passing out information and demonstrating throughout town.\
In phase three they plan on camping for the next few weekends at various city parks.
"There's a lot of people who don't have time to be out here all the time be at every protest but we want them to have a voice we want people to know that we're here bring in their ideas," Jason Burkey said.
Demonstrators plan on having music and food for anybody who stops by.
They hope to make the movement more family friendly.
