Three HS Seniors Sign Athletic Scholarships

Three local high school athletes committed to playing their respective sports at the next level in college. A pair of those athletes are Chapin High School basketball teammates Haley Winters and Stephanie Rey. Winters will spend the next four years at West Point Academy where she will run track while Rey will play basketball at Otero Junior College in Colorado. The third athlete to sign today will be staying closer to home. Chelsea Reiter from Coronado High School signed to cheer at UTEP. She becomes the 18th T-Bird cheerleader in the past 12 years to sign a Division 1 scholarship.
