EL PASO — Hundreds of pet owners gather to "strut their mutts" at the Humane Society of El Paso's 23rd annual "Walk for Animals" event.
The event unleashed some fun for pet owners and their dogs during a one-mile walk and a pet fashion show.
All proceeds benefit the Humane Society... which promotes responsible pet adoption.
"Pets...especially dogs...are pack animals and they really need that family feel. They feel depression, they feel anxiety, they feel loneliness too. So be a responsible pet adopter. Adopt wisely and make that pet part of the family," said Humane Society Executive Director Betty Hoover.
Hoover says more than 250 dogs attended the event... which also offered microchipping.
