EL PASO — The City of El Paso Animal Services Division in partnership with the From The Heart Rescue, an animal advocate organization, is offering a variety of low-cost animal services clinic in May, the Environmental Services Department announced Monday.
The low-cost services will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 200 animals taken to the El Paso Animal Services Shelter, at 5001 Fred Wilson Ave. between the hours of 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on May 5, 2012.
The fees for the low-cost services are:
• Rabies vaccination and registration, $10
• Rabies/Parvo/Distemper vaccinations, $10
• Microchip, $10
Pets receiving the services must be at least three months of age, healthy, and properly restrained. We recommend that dogs be on a leash and cats in a carrier.
Pet owners wishing to register or vaccinate pets that already have a microchip are asked to please bring proof of pet ownership, such as a bill of sale from a veterinarian or a letter from the former owner. Proof of ownership is not required for pets without a microchip.
Payment methods include; cash or check. Those paying with a check must show a valid driver’s license. Credit and debit cards will not be accepted.
