EL PASO, TX — EL PASO- A crash involving an 18-wheeler in east El Paso killed a motorcyclist.
Police said the 18-wheeler was turning on the northbound lanes of Lee Trevino near Trawood Saturday morning.
They said the motorcyclist was in the southbound lanes and couldn't stop. Police said he and the motorcycle slid under the trailer. The man was hit by a back tire and died.
Police said speed may have been a factor.
This is the 5th death this year involving motorcyclists.
