Taveon Rogers was an outstanding receiver, and maybe a better kick returner at New Mexico State, and maybe special teams is where he could make his mark in the NFL. Rogers has already had workouts with several NFL teams, including the Jacksonville Jaguars, and hopes his 4.36 40-yard dash time at the NMSU combine will help attract suitors.
Taveon Rogers said after his workout last month, "I think I did really good, you know, I always place a lot on myself, more than other people, so there is always room for improvement, but I think I did good overall. I talked to coaches and to the Jacksonville Jaguars, going to the Jaguars team."
Saturday, April 28, New Mexico State will hold their annual spring game at Aggie Memorial Stadium with kickoff slated for 1:00pm./
