El Paso — Police arrested a man after he reportedly broke into the home of his ex-wife through a window and threatened her with a gun. Police say he hit her and another person in the residence with the handgun during the incident.
The suspect was Felipe De Jesus Gomez, 40, who demanded his ex-wife to drop charges on a previous family violence assault, according to the report. Gomez also displayed a stun gun, plastic zip ties, and a propane torch canister. The report says he announced the items would be used to "burn and disfigure his ex-wife's appearance."
Officers responding to the home placed arrested Gomez on one count of Aggravated Assault, Burglary of Habitation, Violation of a Protective Order, Interference with Emergency Communication, Obstruction or Retaliation, Aggravated Assault – Family Violence, and two counts of Unlawful Restraint.
