Hundreds of people turned out for a job resources fair in Las Cruces. Nearly 50 federal, state and local employers were on hand for the fair. Congressman Harry Teague helped to put on the event. He says the goal is to get unemployed people in southern New Mexico back to work.
"The employees are excited because they are actually going to get to interview for a job tomorrow," said Teague. "Some of the employers are excited cause they need to hire employees and they are getting resumes from people who are wanting jobs."
This was the fourth of these job resources fairs in southern New Mexico this month.
