Rock and roll icon Dick Clark died Wednesday.
Clark's family says he suffered a massive heart attack this morning -- a day after undergoing an outpatient procedure. Known as America's oldest teenager, Clark began hosting a rock and roll show called "Bandstand" in 1956. When the show went national, Clark changed the name to "American Bandstand".
Clark also hosted the annual "Rockin New Year’s Eve" broadcast in Times Square for years -- until he suffered a stroke in 2004.
He is survived by his wife Kari and three children.
Clark was 82.
