It's a process that's helped hundreds of disabled students who are studying at UTEP. But what happens once those students graduate and need to find a job?
The Rehabilitation Counseling Program is federally funded. It's geared toward getting people with disabilities whatever they need to do their jobs, once they graduate and get jobs. Were talking about things that the employer doesn't provide.
That's good news for students like Oscar Lozoya, who's working on his second masters degree. "That's very nice and I feel more confident to go into the job market and look for a job," said Lozoya.
There are over 300 students with disabilities at UTEP.
